MIS: Week 1 Seminar Reflection

In this class we learned about the role of an analyst.  Within our group we were asked to answer a set of questions and present them to the class.  After we were given the answers and were able to read more in detail about the answers.  An analyst identifies problems, analyses key issues, and by creates solutions to these problems.  I found learning about this key role will help during the group project to come.  Using the skills of an analyst such as identifying a problem, using research to look further into the problem and then creating a plan to fix it, will be very helpful in my future career.  Overall the skills learned in class today will be vital to the group project and to my future career as a business woman.
